WELLNESS CENTER PLUS

In this final project, we are to design a wellness center within the Kepong Botanical Gardens (KBG), bordering the neighborhood of Taman Ehsan. Students are required to provide comprehensive design concepts that incorporate information from site investigation and precedent studies. Students will create stories that respond to the environment and the community as a user group within the given context. They will also investigate environmental poetics of building enclosure design solutions that lessen environmental impact using a variety of complex typologies of spatial organizations and a variety of passive sustainable design techniques. The design need to enhance and blend in seamlessly with the surroundings and the location, offer the best spatial experiences, and promote a feeling of community.

Reflection
My concept was to incorporate the body, mind and soul into my site as zoning. Overall, I think was not satisfied with my outcome, as I did not do well in terms of diagramming, and did not present my proposed scheme very well. However, the tutors were there to guide the students throughout the project. So I am very grateful for that.
