EXPLORING LOCAL ARCHITECTURE / BUILT ENVIRONMENT RESPOSNSES TO SPECIFIC GOALS & TARGETS

Duration : 6 weeks

Submission Requirement : 1x A3 Digital Board

This objective of this project is to mainly create awareness for students towards the 17 SDG goals and specifically the goals that are related to our built environment. In this project, we are able to explore and learn on how local architecture is responding to the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).

This is an individual assignment & we are to choose one of the 17 goals. Then, we are to create an A3 size digital poster based on the information extracted from the online articles, reviews, report, research paper & so on. The theme that I had chosen was the "Goal 13, Climate Action"

Reflection

This is a very interesting as it touches on the SDG goals and local architecture at the same time. The chosen local building is one of the tallest building in my country, Malaysia. It is called the TRX Exchange 106 located in Kuala Lumpur. The SDG goal that I've selected was the Goal 13.

During the process, I had conducted a lot of researches on this new building, and the information were all being summarised and potray on my A3 digital board. The color theme of the board was inspired by the color of the SDG Goal 13, climate change.
