Famous Architect’s Building: Application of Architectural and Structural Materials
Duration : 7 weeks
Submission Requirement : 2 A3 Infographics (Digital Format)
Individually, we were assigned to create a digital infographic regarding our chosen famous Architect and their remarkable designs. Then, to elaborate and compare the architectural and structural materials that are used in the selected building, expanding our understanding and interpretation of building construction and materials.
For my architect and famous building, I chose Kenzo Tange and one of his iconic work, the Yoyogi National Stadium.

Reflection
In this assignment, I've learned to identified the materials used in a building, in terms of architectural and also structural and understand how each of them works to convey the architect's concept or idea.
Overall, I think it was a very interesting because I had an opportunity to discover more in this project. Also, I was able to learn from famous architects like Kenzo Tange, I think this would really help me in terms of design thinking.
