EXPERIENCING SPACE - SPATIAL TRANSLATION
Duration : 3 weeks
Submission Requirement : A3 Presentation Panels, Models (Digital / Physical)
This study helps us to gain a fundamental grasp of modifying elements and how they affect spatial experience in a group of four individuals by analyzing selected precedent studies. We were given the challenge of proposing a spatial translation scheme in the form of semi-open architecture employing modifying elements that we investigated through two case studies. Following the selection of a possible location, the spaces will be translated from a chosen narrative and interpreted and developed.
This group project allows us to explore the different types of spatial qualities through identify and apply. My group consist of 4 members. The modifying elements that we had chosen are "time" and "light & shadow". We selected linear as our form of spatial translation from a narrative.

Reflection
Upon the completion of this assignment, I would say it was fun for me because I get to improve my rendering skills and teamwork skills at the same time. The assignment also touches on the poetics of the architecture, which would help me a lot in my next assignment.
Overall, I would say the design process and the graphics of presentation (diagrams) can be improved, & more thinking can be done before completion.
